Additive Live is an AM conference which has been launched in the UK by GoPrint3D.  The inaugural event which is being supported by HP will take place at PrintCity, Manchester Metropolitan University’s central Additive Manufacturing lab.

The first Additive Live event is focused on Additive Manufacturing in Higher Education with talks on the use of colour in 3D printing, generative design and a preview of HP’s University level 3D printing curriculum.  There will also be advice about setting up AM labs inside Universities, how to go about SME outreach as well as a tour of PrintCity’s facilities.

“The idea behind Additive Live is to help delegates learn about the latest AM technologies and best practices, whilst helping them improve their 3D printing skills and develop their professional network.” said David Whitehouse, Marketing Manager, GoPrint3D. ”Our first event in Manchester will be tailored towards Universities and Colleges.”

“PrintCity and Manchester Metropolitan University are thrilled to be hosting this event.” said Edmund Keefe, Senior Lecturer Industrial Digitalisation, PrintCity. “As an organisation PrintCity is constantly looking to collaborate with industry leaders and to incorporate the latest technologies and practices into our teaching and research output.”

“HP is very pleased to be supporting our channel partner GoPrint3D at this inaugural event, and look forward to hearing from the attendees on their future developments for AM and how we can assist them in realizing these plans.” said Maryam Qureshi, Application Specialist 3D printing, HP Inc.
